Q: What makes Maid to Shine different than any other company?

Here at Maid to Shine we promise 100% satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked. Our goal is to provide world class service with a personal touch each and every time. You can count on Maid to Shine to be the PROFESSIONAL and RELIABLE cleaning service that makes a positive impact and improves our community!

Q: Do I need to clean up before you come?

No, you do not need to clean before we come (that’s our job!) but we do ask that you put away or organize items so that we can clean more efficiently.

Q: Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes, we supply everything we need for your cleaning. All of our cleaning products are eco friendly, gentle and safe for any surface in your home!

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

We strive to make your experience convenient! As soon as the job is complete you will be sent a notification with the opportunity to submit payment via credit or debit card! If this is not your preference, no problem! Cash or check is fine too! We do require full payment at the time of service.

Q: Do I need to be home when you come to clean?

It’s up to you! We are a professional service, with an experienced staff, able to enter and leave our customers home respectfully.

Q: Who will be cleaning my home?

Maid to Shine guarantees to provide a team member that will provide excellent service, someone that you can trust and be comfortable with. We make every effort to schedule you with the same maid.

Q: Will I be reminded of my scheduled cleaning?

Yes. You will receive a text notification when the maid is on the way to your home.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

There will be no charge for cancelling a scheduled clean with more than 24 hours’ notice.  If our staff arrives and is unable to enter the home or if your service is not cancelled 24 hours in advance you will be responsible for one-half of your cleaning service. Please consider how late cancellations may impact the cleaners for the day.

Q: What do you not clean?

Our cleaning team is designed to keep your home comfortable and clean. To ensure we provide you with the best service, we don’t typically:

  • Pick up clutter( extra fee will apply)
  • Do laundry
  • Touch or clean personal items
  • Clean toys
  • Clean pictures frames or breakable items
  • Wash dishes( unless asked)
  • Human or pet blood, feces or urine that are not found on the toilets

We want to be sure that all your belongings are in the right place when we leave, which is why we leave these organizational tasks to you.
